Carlos Bayerri-Albesa, L.Ac. LMT
Carlos is the founder and principal practitioner at Centered Acupuncture. Having received his Masters degree in Tradional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, Carlos studied the physical art of Acupuncture needling and acquired an in-depth understanding of the meridians and acupuncture points. This includes - soft tissue bodywork modalities like Tui-Na, and the use and application of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Additionally, Carlos majored in Sociology following a passion for understanding the way that people and societies function as micro- and macrocosms. He believes that understanding how environments affect individuals, and in turn how individuals affect their environments and themselves, is critical to identify effective solutions to the various conditions experienced in modern society.
Thus, his sociological framework enhances Carlos' ability to understand what is happening with the individual on various levels and how best to treat them.
